I’d leave it open. There’s lots of places for water and mud entry along that rectangle tube. That’s a good drain point.

In fact, whenever I come back from wheeling, I stick my hose end water nozzle in that opening and blast away all the mud and muck.

Got the bumpers back from powerder and everything put on. Now the truth is that 600lbs fox coils cant hold the hybrid and synthline winch that well without lots of preload. I have 650s that ill swap to next weekend.

Here you go, you may need to drill a hole in the bottom of the bumper lip but these plug in just fine for mine.

@bski22, just in case you wanted some as well.

Do you want a fixed mount, or adjustable?

hey do you remember if the cap to take the swingout off, is screw in or if it just goes in with a rubber gasket? I was trying to take mine off the other day, and couldnt get it with a pick and hammer

Also did you find the part for that release pin?

If you're talking about the cap for the spindle, it screws on.

Did we just become best friends! Remember when I asked you that same question? It’s threaded.. get some channel locks and bite into the aluminum cap. You’re probably a little rusted up

If you have one of those rubber jar openers, I would try that first before marring it with a wrench.

I figured its getting rusted now. I bought the updated adjustable height spare tire thing, and am getting it welded on, on Wednesday. Ill try to mess with the swingout part and take that pin out and anti-seize it too

Fixed mount is a lot cheaper. Etrailer has a couple, just look around for one that is rated for what you are pulling. I bought a 14" drop adjustable dual ball hitch from Husky Liners but it was around $225.

@fatfurious2 - I was about to buy the release pin last night, until i was in the check out page and the shipping charge was 15 bucks for a 12 dollar part. Fuck that shit.

If we find a couple more local peeps that need this, we should order and ship to one point, because the shipping remains relatively the same for multiples.

Also, if you sign up/register with the site instead of purchasing as a guest, you get 25% off your first purchase. Which brings the release pin to $9
