I won’t try and kid anyone I am not a hardcore gamer. Just a guy 45 years old who still likes to play games when I have the time. For the last few days I have been a little kid checking my tracking number to make sure I meet the mail lady at the door when it arrived.

Got some time in today to play Titanfall 2 and I am loving this thing. I was on a 360 so I figured why not go for the Scorpio because I can. I don’t have a 4K tv so I am not even getting the full effect but even my wife who has no interest in games in the least was impressed. At one point tonight I was getting my ass handed to me with enemies coming from all over and I was running away like a bitch just trying to survive long enough to recover and hopefully knock one or two off. Afterwards I was thinking man there was zero lag, zero stutter, and the clearest most detailed graphics I have ever played. I grew up with Pac-Man and space invaders so everything now is impressive compared to Dragons Lair which was the most impressive graphically advanced game back in my day. But this thing takes it to a whole new level. For the number of enemies I would expect things in the background to be blurry or chunky pixel wise. Crystal clear. I am impressed in so many ways.

So did anyone else pony up and get the latest and greatest? Did you get the X or the limited edition Project Scorpio?

Never been an Xbox guy, I always gamed on Playstations or Nintendo's, but the new Xbox is looking pretty impressive. Thanks for the review!
