I'm gonna be running mine with some fox 2.0s, but yeah, the king 12 sounds kind of like the perfect rear setup!!!! I think I'm going to like it!

What length Bilsteins did you use?

Judging by that picture I'm guessing extended.

Just the regular 5100s but I should have gone with 5125s or something else with more travel. Going to fix that soon.

So just finished putting them on!! I can tell already, they flex better than the dakars even when they had a leaf out!! They are pretty high, 25 inches hub to fender so hopefully these things settle a bit over the next few months!! Will report back after driving and flexing them out a bit!!

Good thing I measured, looked at the labels after I had everything in, luckily, the driver side is 1/2 inch taller!!! :anonymous:

So @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc , what can I expect these to settle down to?? With dakars full leaves was at 24' hub to fender, and these are an inch higher!! Is there a different shackle on the Baja edition Tacoma??

They will settle down quite a bit. How many miles do you have on them so far? Run a tank of gas on them and see what they settle too.

So a few pics first is before with the dakars!! Ass is a bit high in the air, but it'll settle!! Rides like I've always wanted it to, smooth!!! Can wait to take it off road!!

Looks good that's for sure, the 8 leaf looks well constructed.

I like the access cab, I think that's the first Baja ac I have seen. I saw a Pro ac on the forum the other day didn't know those were ever produced.

What Dakar pack were you running before? EL095?

I looked at the new icon pack, the think is, can add a leaf to the wheelers pack as well, not quite as many options, and really couldn't find a lot of reviews about it, plus the cost tops out other leafs!!

I love my access cab!! Even though every sign of a Baja minus the seat covers is gone!!!

Yeah, I was tried the el095r. Tried removing the thrid leaf and one overload. Hight was better, but the ride was still stiffer than I would have liked. If I had full steel armor, and an additional 200lbs all the time, might be ok. The full Dakar park isn't messing around, great pack, well built, just overkill for my needs and likes!!!

Have you loaded up the rear end at all to see how much it sags? I’m at 24 hub to fender on a 3 leaf AAL and I’ve been back and forth on the Dakar’s or wheelers. I have a shell and rack so about 175lbs all the time and in the future I’ll be doing a rear bumper. I’d love a softer ride as I hear the Dakar’s can be harsh, but I also don’t want it to sag too much from the extra weight.
