    I talked to a guy a few years ago at a show who had a '48 Pontiac wagon like this.
    He bought it from an estate in Westchester County, NY, where it spent the previous 65 years sitting in a heated garage.

    ...^^^... Got this photo from the internet ... but my Dart looked like this.

    I had a 1969 Dart 340 blue and I loved it. It had a “Swinger” stripe around the rear and I took it off.
    Blue body, blue rims and little hubcaps.

    It would jump off the line like a little cat.
    It had a good sound too. The 340 was perfect for that car’s weight and balance.

    Wrecked the left rear fender, got it fixed and traded it on a 383. The 383 would not jump as fast as the 340, but the 383 had longer legs down the road.

    Had a bunch of cools cars form the past ... and i wish I still had a few of them.

    Owned a bunch of Toyotas and a couple of Hondas ... and overall, Toyota and Honda had the best quality.

    They introduced the first Impala 409 SS Model mid year in 1961, I want to say that they only made a few hundred.
    This is definitely a rare bird....... or antelope :D
