This channel was created by Spike Jonze and has lot of entertaining shows. Anyone else tune in to this channel?

I was a skater in a previous life (still am in my mind, even though stuff hurts when I stand up from a sitting position for too long), and I have been loving some of the shows on this channel.

King of the Road is a great series following 3 pro teams competing in a kind of Amazing Race type of trip. The teams are given of book of tricks and other various stunts with points noted. The idea is to rack up as much points as you can and in the end the King of the Road team is crowned and given prize money. It's a pretty awesome show and funny enough, one of the videographers that are sent with one of the teams is my old high school skate buddy. :D

Another series that started recently is Epically Later'd, which is a docu-series on guys that became famous or infamous in the skate culture. First episode was on Bam Margera and was pretty good. The last one I saw was on Spike Jonze, and it was really cool to see how he came up on the world doing skate videos, to music videos, to winning an Academy award.

I watched the Epicly Later'd episode for Andy Roy yesterday. Man, he is just as wild as can be! Although being somewhat of a loose cannon, it was cool to see how passionate he is about skateboarding. He even ran a skate camp for kids for a while there. He is definitely great at hyping you up though. Hell, I wanted to skate right after watching his episode! :D

It was interesting to see his journey of going from skating, to falling into hard drugs like heroin, going to prison, and then coming out and wanting to get back to being a skater again. It really is the perfect outlet to right his ship, well as much as it can be righted, anyway.

Next episode to watch is Andrew Reynolds. Looking forward to that one!

Vice is great but damn Andy Roy kinda pisses me off, he's got a couple screws loose. The Bam episode was compelling, I hope he does well this time around.

Andy Roy definitely isn't playing with a full deck! I do hope Bam can pull it together. Seeing him, being older than I am and getting back into skating motivated me to want to skate again too. Granted, I'm not anywhere near his level (even after he was off a board for so long), but it still feels good to roll around trying to get tricks back. haha

Abandoned is a really great show IMO. I am surprised that it hasn't been renewed for a season 2 yet. It's really cool to see Rick McCrank explore these places, get info and stories from the locals, and take some time to skate. haha

All the empty/shutdown malls in Cleveland was pretty crazy. I never knew the area was economically hit that bad. Same with the Six Flags in New Orleans that was decimated by Katrina. I love the concept of this show and hope it continues.

Hamilton's Pharmacopia is also another Viceland show that is just incredibly interesting. The origin and related stories of various psychedelics was pretty cool to see, from a scientific point of view that Hamilton presents. The only one I ever tried on my day was mushrooms, so that episode was especially fascinating for me.
