Fender liner cleaning/protecting

This may be weird but I always notice my dingy fender liners. Especially the front.
What are you guys using to protect and keep black?
Cleaning is what it is, soap, handle brush, etc. But i want them to stay black, i know there isn't much i can do about road debris kicking up from the tires.

 

This works well for what you’re talking about... Make sure you’re out of the wind so to not get it on the paint. It’s almost like spraying clear polyurethane. It’s obviously not permanent like that, but it will last a pretty long time. A great solution for wheel wells due to all the nooks/crannies and varying surfaces.

This stuff is totally different than a “dressing”. It dries sort of clear/shiny but it’s not oily at all.

I spray tire shine on any black plastic under the fenders (or even the mudflaps) and it works amazing.
