Well good too know, I have the same ones. I'm wondering how they would look painted black with the center cap left unpainted...

    Looks much better @TacoDuro

@cyphertext, the TRD off-road has aluminum wheels that are one piece....there is nothing attached to them with adhesive. Do you have aftermarket wheels?

No, they are factory... Look like the aluminum wheels that everyone else has, but have a chromed plastic cladding. I'll take a pic tomorrow.

If my spare was the same, I would just pry the skin off of it to see what it looked like, but my spare wheel doesn't match.

My guess is it looks like all the other of road wheels, but who the hell knows.

I think it looks like that shape, just not sure about the adhesive or whatever it is holding that skin on... not sure if it could be removed without refinishing the wheel.

That's a good point... the center cap is not removable, it is all one piece. I just got the truck, so I haven't messed with it much. I can tell that it is not held on by the lug nuts, but I couldn't get them to pop off... asked the dealer about them and he said it was a chrome clad wheel... and I saw that some 18" Toyota wheels are like that, so assumed this one was too...

Guess I will have to try to be a little more aggressive to remove them.

Don't know about the chrome caps, but the wheels look great that way IMHO:

They have plastic clips that clip on each side of the spoke. Check these pictures out on Ebay and you can see them on each side of the cut-outs.
