Not sure if this will help or not but here is a couple pics I took after installing GTR Gen 3 Hi/lows on my truck.

Installed VLEDS latest and greatest bulbs for the tail light assembly, all 3 per side.

The reverse lights are super clean and bright. I did 6k to match the factory leds in the third brake light. Also didn6K on plate bulbs. 5K in the interior.

The brake lights/tail lights come on quick and I like that. Not crazy bright but very clear even in bright daylight.

Assemblies are all aluminum, look very well made and there is no hyper flashing, even with headlights on.

This nearly completes my truck conversion, everything is done except the headlight assemblies.

I can’t get my hand in to the front side markers, and I already did HIDS, so gonna wait to do headlights till those die.

Also have triton V6 front turn signals on pre-order.

Here is a pic of the VLEDS Micros. Been using them almost a week and loving them.

Thanks for taking your time to put this together. The icon pics and the active links really helped. Bulbs started trickling in intermittently so its been like a weeklong process. Once again, very pleased with the quality and fitment.

Anyone get the VLEDs switchback front turns yet. I keep looking but I’m not 100% sold on them yet. If anyone had got the yet do you have to tap into any of the wires to get them to dim when the DRLs dim and the headlights come on?

    What do you mean switchback?

I’m guessing on the lower trim levels the amber bulb stays on as a DRL?

Forgive my ignorance, I have a LED DRL.

I ordered the Triton V6 amber LEDs for the front turn signal.

From the pictures from Yancey (GTR) and EastTx (VLED)from the previous page it seems to me that the GTRs throw more concentrated light in the center than the VLEDs, which is what the headlightrevolution.com videos showed. The GTRs are more like HIDs. I have HIDs in my Lexus IS350.

These new Tritons turn signals light up with white light to act as a DRL and when you use the blinker switch to Amber then back to White once the blinker as deactivated.

I’m just wondering if you have to tap any wires to have them dim once the DRLs dim when the actual headlights come one.

    Here the link to them.

Ah ok. Says you will need the HDRL controller. Also says they are Plug n’ play. No splicing required. But should probably email them to confirm. Looks really cool actually.

I am also using the VLEDS new Micro Low Beams, had them for about 2 months and so far very happy with them.

The video review does not review the Micros, so I don't think it is an accurate review of the VLEDs Micro Headlight.

I find them to be on par with the HIDs I got rid of.

On another note, I just had a VLED in my fogs quit working after 23 months of service and I am a little disappointed in the short life span. Was not expecting the failure so soon.

Contacted VLEDs and they are not able to do anything because it is out of warranty, it did not last 30,000 hours though!

Of course the bulb that I need to replace is out of production now so I am looking at options.

I thought they offer a 2 warranty? Or is it 1 year? I went ahead and got the Micros for my fogs.

They came with a 1 year warranty, I was just a little surprised to see one fail after 23 months, going to be expensive to replace at that rate...

Just installed the GTR GEN 3s. Worth every penny. The beam is identical to the stock halogens.
