New to the world of tonneau covers (spellcheck doesnt like that word).

After a year or so of owning an extang solidfold 2.0, I noticed today it shifted on its own. My buddy had a point about the C channel rear frame probably being the culprit.

how often do you check yours?

Both sides USED to be even

Here is a pic of the drivers side nearest to the cab before fixing it (cab is to the left in this pic)

Did it stay fixed after you adjusted it?

    Yessir, so far so good!

Washed the truck and no leaks present.

I think the issue is finding a happy medium on the tightness of the front clamps.

This is a newer version of the 2.0 with better materials that shouldnt bow or concave in at the anchor points unlike the ones made just a few months earlier.

I forgot the manufacture dates to look for, but i called extang before purchase and they said to buy 1 made after a certain date code.
4wp was happy to take the 1st one they sent back as it was an older lot number and i advised the manager of the issues they had.

Even with the supposed better batch of materials, i am not sure just how tight i wanna get these. They are tighter than before now. We shall see how it goes.

It spent some time in the death valley area and nothing deformed.
