You'd mount the element with a poly bulkhead fitting, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Banjo-TF100-...D=41TSWNPzVIL&preST=_SX342_QL70_&dpSrc=detail

That's almost exactly the route I'm heading with mine. I hadn't thought of the heater until it was brought up in the thread here, but I'm planning out a 10-15 gallon tank at the front of the bed that I can fill through the windoor on my cap, run directly to the pump underneath the fender wall. I haven't taken the time to search for a suitable storage tank yet, but ideally, I don't want to lose much bed space if I don't have to.

This is exactly the setup I'm planning for my rig. Frontrunner has some great water tank options.

Like that, but I can't give up any in-bed height to put it under a platform like he did, and only have a little length I can give up.

Check out Frontrunner. They have an upright tank that might work for you.

I hadn't looked at them yet, but something like the Frontrunner upright or slanted tanks would be perfect. That's exactly what I had in mind. I just need to measure some things out for it and do a little more planning, but that's what I was thinking.

Got mine the other day. Looking for a day that I'm off work [lol never] and it's warm enough to go outside [also never] so presumably I'll install it sometime in April.

Kit looks good, looking forward to it!

For those that have purchased a Camp Chef Triton or another water heater.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001J4AU2E

Two questions: I see it is 30% off right now, is that a Black Friday discount or normal? Second, would you recommend this water heater or is there another one that anyone would recommend?

Considering making a limited edition kit built into a waterproof hard case similar to pelican. I only have 1 kit left so it would be the only one of its kind. What do you guys think? This is the case

Saw those cases the other day at HF. I think it would work great for a portable kit!
