ASSHOLE PARKING

This happens CONSTANTLY at one of the facilities where I work during the winter time (thankfully I don't work at that one anymore). The parking there is completely jacked even during good weather. But if you get so much as a dusting of snow, you get a parking lot full of ASSHOLES that box people in. Seeing that there are a couple THOUSAND people that work in that building, and honestly, too few parking spaces, it is a nightmare.

It always amazes me how that number of otherwise VERY SMART individuals can be so inept at something as simple as not parking like an asshole.

 

I don't know about earned....but certainly deserved!

 

Several at lowes taking 2-4 spots

 

If he isn't in the front of the lot, I'd give him a pass. Don't know if he needs to load the bed, and this way he's not leaving his giant orange cart monstrosity in the lane.

 

Second set of parking spaces. At first I thought maybe he didn’t want anybody parking beside him. The loading makes sense though.

As a rider I understand the reasoning for this. I have had my bike hit three times from someone zipping into a parking spot not realizing that my bike was parked there. To prevent this when there is no parking spots specified for compacts or bikes, I too have used the marked wasted space. I do not use any that are part of the handicap spots. Call me an asshole if you will, but I too like to protect my investment when no one else provides a safe place for me to park it.

 

There were three other bikes of equal size, including mine, parked properly...

 

I'm not saying it is right, just that I have done it before to prevent finding my bike on the ground when I return. I know not everyone will agree with me but that's fine, I can take the criticism.

 

I guess it depends on where you live, here in NE Florida everyone pretty much understands "If you value your life as much as I value my bike..." don't "mess" with it...

 

Same here. I got my bike and literally three hours later, at a home depot none the less, someone hit it and knocked it over and took off. Brand new bike and it now has damage. I never parked in another parking spot again and never got hit again.

 

Well ain’t that all kinds of McStupid.

Is it me or does it seem like the full size folks can’t park for shit lol

 

One would think that it's the big truck that gets in the way, but maybe it's just the ego, that they need the truck to carry around, that gets in the way.

 

I was thinking the fat people....but both usually dont park well

 

Around here it's just the fat folks, skinny folks, full size, mid-size, mini, micro, rich, wannabe rich, middle class, poor, and just plain egomaniacs that can't park.
