I just got an amp and front speakers "professionally" installed in my access cab. There's a persistent high pitch noise, regardless of whether the radio is on or not. It's not loud, but it's quite noticeable. Is that normal? If not, what could be the problem and how do I fix it?

    Thanks.

Take it back and have them fix it. Bad ground. I usually use double grounding points to the frame. If the grounded to any part of the chasing its not good ground. Need to ground the amps to the frame. Don't know what you had installed but your power wire and ground wire need to be of equal size.

I had this amp installed: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXJJXXH/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll reluctantly take my truck back to the same people who didn't do it right.
