We're getting out as much as we can rt now. I'm just tweaking it and makeing mods along the wah to suit our needs better. The next stuff is fairly exspensive for me. We'll be ordering our fridge soon, then dual batteries, solar, shower and pottie

I thought about filling in but she puts taller pencil boxes back there with utensils in them so it is pretty well blocked. I thought it would leave easier access but we'll see. I do have a piece of matching wood and some hinges so who knows? It is a good idea I wa going to hinge the prep board but thought it'd be better to be able to just lift out in case you need something underneith it would be simpler.

Played with the cooking area a little more today. I had a piece of wood left from makeing the prep area so @Cypherian I had already been thinking of this but you just spurred me along a bit. I cut the piece down to fit the open area between the prep space and the lid where the stove sits, sanded, pollied, and mounted with hinges so I still have access to our utensils but nothing can fall down in there now. I may still have to tweak it a little as now everything fits nice and tight and you have to reach your fingers in from the side to remove the prep board.

Before: You can see the open space in the rear between the two surfaces

Now: It's all filled in and one continuous surface for the most part

I'm so ready to get the hell away from here and go camping again!

I'll just park under his awning and we can split the space

What size tires are you guys using to tow this? I am trying to decide if I need to get some LT tires. There are times I will tow this and some kayaks and or a RTT/bed rack in my 3rd gen TRD sport

I have Cooper STT Max 255/80/17's on the truck. They're E rated and heavy but I really like them. They've been great in any weather or conditions so far.

Anybody think of attaching a hitch to this and then hauling a UTV behind? Triple towing. This thing is so light that should be under max towing weight and then the 65 foot max length for most states

I think a gooseneck/fifth wheel adaptor can be installed in a Taco. The weight is another issue. But a Tiger Moth modded into a gooseneck wouldn't be heavy.

Maybe look at one of the toy haulers several companies make them. It's a toy hauler but when you take the toy out it becomes a camper. They have pull out kitchens, AC, awnings and can get with rtt's. Look up Intec trailers

I'll eventually do my own thread and stop cluttering up your's Casper, but I finally pulled the trigger on a trailer. I was talking to Blue Ridge Expedition trailers and Road Trip when a used Cross Country Teardrops camper showed up for sale on Instagram.

    • Outdoor tankless hot shower
    • Deck mounted AC/heat
    • Deck mounted generator
    • 100w solar panel and one battery
    • Timbren suspension
    • Futon that folds out to queen size mattress
    • Dual ARB awnings with one set of walls and one set of screens

The day I bought her. So far all I've done is debadged her.

    Matchy matchy!

Now the larger tires on the trailer are starting to bug me. Time to start saving for lift and tires :D
