Factory Tikka T3x lite in 308 at 100 yards. Shooting off a bench with a rear bag.

Shot the first one thats high and right, made some adjustments to the turrets and fired the next 4. I'm very happy with it! Thank you @DevilDocAZ !

 

Built this tonight, gonna break it in with a thanksgiving shoot and a friend who shoots for team glock.

Also debating picking up a riger 10/22 breakdown to hold the addiction while i slowly get parts for my 6.5 grendel AR upper build

 

Eh....that's a $350 speed bump that only slows you down towards your upper. Pass.

 

That's true but it would give me a 22 to sit along side my girlfriends 22. 22lr ammo is also much cheaper than grendel ammo is!

 

Essentially it is a shootable speedbump

 

The regular 75s don’t make good hosts. From what I remember when I tried to do mine they don’t sell ready threaded barrels for them. I’ve got a 75b that I love but I doubt I’ll actually get to suppress it.

New PT111 owner here. shot last night for first time, no jam, no ftf. BUT....this thing has a slight hangup halfway to break during the long first pull. subsequent shots while in SA, very short reset, trigger does not make it back to the hangup point, no issue. I will likely drop it at local gunsmith for a trigger job / polish / deburr, IDK. Hopefully it can be remedied. I like the gun. I do not mind the long initial pull at all. kind of a built in safety feature.

 

I bought a pt111 for my mom for her birthday for a good price. I noticed the same thing when I first shot it. It almost seemed like it was getting caught on something. I was repeatedly jamming on the trigger hard and it just wouldn't go off until it finally did. Definitely a bit concerning. I haven't had a chance to try and polish it for her yet to see if it makes a difference or not.

 

interesting. I am going to take mine to my local smith and see if he has any insight. I do not want to send to Taurus for warranty check. that is a big hassle I have read.

 

Not to say anything bad or cut down anyone that has a tarus!! I have had nothing but repeated issues out of all the tarus lineup.I won’t even sell them to anyone useless they just have to have one. the PT11 G2 wasn't bad for me, just was a snappy, first gun, that didn't have much aftermarket support
