Just a little higher. I used 2x12s, so with the 1/2" plywood on top it's right at 12" tall. I believe the wheel wells are 9.5" tall. I wanted it just high enough to fit my spare 255 under there.

Not bad, I got two short clips, one from behind and then from the top, I will try to get them uploaded to the picture thread with some other pictures I got from the trip. That climb was super sloppy! I'd like to revisit in the dry, I'm sure we'd crawl right up, a locker might help as well.

No room for chains up front. Could run them in the rear. Don't run chains for snow wheeling. Blues at Rausch are fun in the snow. Can think of a few trails that would be great with snow on them at AOAA.

Damn, now I gotta find chains for my 35s.

$125 for V-bar chains. Not that bad a price.

Just got home a little while ago. Summary in a nutshell: fucking awesome weekend.

Kudos to @Braves95 for organizing all of this. Hope you're volunteering for spring bash organization! It was no easy task and the event came together great in spite of the incredibly shitty weather on Saturday. And of course thanks to Lloyd @Subway4X4 for the trail hospitality and top-notch CB chatter / spotting help.

    And a shout-out to Team Nightmare (in both forms), @El Dahs @evoviii1220 @TacoTabe @Subway4X4 @Redmann @ADV4R @Lux and Jeremy

I went into the weekend expecting good wheeling and came away knowing good people and having a list of people I'd happily and comfortably wheel with in the future. Can't beat that.

Damage report on my end: one peeled off wheelwell flare, popped off bumper, and pushed in corner panel on the passenger rear side. Lloyd saw it coming but it happened before I could adjust. Coulda been worse...

Would do it again in a heartbeat :D

My pictures probably won't be up until next week but I'll post them in the picture thread and in a separate trip report too.

Seriously guys, fucking awesome trip. Wish we could do it every weekend! Great meeting so many of you in person and looking forward to the next time.

Stay tuned, I'll have a trip report up in the next couple weeks...

Very awesome weekend with you all! Could have done without the super crappy weather on Saturday, but I think the Dream Team made the best of it, with the traction we could find on the slick leaves and rocks.

It was awesome meeting, talking and wheeling with you guys. Came into the weekend not knowing anyone on here, and left having met all really great people who I hope to wheel with again real soon. Pretty awesome I think.

Thanks again @Roody for extending the invitation over on T4R, wouldn't have known about this community without ya.

Did he mount his antenna? When he was with us on saturday, his antenna was resting in his back seat.

    Will do @EatSleepTacos!
I messed with a bit, if I held a side load on the wire to the mic it would transmit, otherwise it wasn't making connection, just terrible range... But having a short antenna inside the truck attached to cb that was as good as garbage a couple days ago, it got me through. For sure will have a proper setup for next round though.

Yes it was a great we and cold weekend. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. @Subway4X4 the food once again was great. The Colby valves saved the day again for Eric. Thanks to @tacos33 for the donation of said Colby valve. I'm surprised nobody wanted any of my pops. Pretty upset but hey I'll have them for the next trip. Have the same scrap and sent as @Skell. But hey if I didn't expect damage I would wash it and go to the mall.

Thank you to the Dream Team for adopting me when my group disintegrated, it was sketchy but fun. Thank you to the Sunday expeditionary team @BastekFX, @ProjectTgen3 ,@crazychris4124 aka little Braves95(submariner) and the T4R crew. I think we might have found every mud hole in the western.
