    Reasons buying the truck:

Since I am in the restaurant industry and do some part time designing interiors this truck made the most sense.

For the restaurant I can load the truck and no have to worry about any odors from the stock. Had an issue with that with the Tahoe I was driving around for awhile.

And for interior designing, does well with loading up the back with furniture, tile, etc.

Built this truck for DD use and for spontaneous and not so spontaneous adventures. Within a reasonable budget I was able to achieve exactly what I intended the truck was needed for.

Feel free to ask if there any questions!

break- in for the suspension is about 1k miles, so far it rides a nicely. I would say just as smooth as stock. Went over a few speed bumps and the suspension ate those up, so hoping it will do the same off the tarmac.

    Looks wise, looks great IMO.

Also changed her oil around 2350 miles in.

How do you like the 5100's in the rear? I have the same setup as you (except shell...I am not a shell guy), but I only had a leafpack in the rear and that was not working. I ordered bilstein 5160's with reservoir...I am thinking I probably just should have went the 5100's.

    So far soo good!
Im going on a week trip in about 2 weeks, to mojave, and hopefully south rim, Az. Ill let you know my verdict. But so far for daily its great. I load the back up with stock for the restaurant every week and do not see any sag. With the stuff for the restaurant in the rear, going over bumps, etc is fantastic. smooth as silk.

Looks good. I was talking with some guys on the Tacoma World group on Facebook and they were telling me about the 5100’s. How they have gone through many sets due to their bad design. I have yet to come across a bad review here on the forums. The 5100’s were what I was considering for my Tacoma. Would you say they’re a good upgrade?
