I installed my lift with 884 coils (590 lb coils) and didn't think the body roll was TOO bad. Put it back on a 3 months later and immediately noticed a difference for the better. I didn't realize how much my truck was actually rolling without it. To me, a slightly better ride on bumpy roads isn't worth the risk.

I have a 45 minute commute on 2 lane highway through the mountains. No problems here. I would never suggest someone remove the sway with stock suspension. With 886 coils, I say give it a try. It's a ten minute mod, easy peasy.

With my Fox 2.5 with 700lb springs. Removed! Minimal body roll and also prevents whiplast over huge speed bumps. :anonymous:

I agree, removed mine when I put new coils ADS on mine and feels great, prior was running stock with a spacer 3” tho so not the best feeling ever but no complaints here while driving. Run to and from Cali all the time 75-80mph and no complaints here.

Haha! Quite a bit more LOL

BTW...of all ironies I am thinking about adding a custom sway bar to the front end of my truck now permanently. The front suspension is so soft and flexy that it creates a lot of body roll!

Really! Hmmm Mine is also super flexy soft but no plans on sway bar for me. Rear links coming soon:yes: That might change my sway bar thoughts on this DD.

You linking the rear soon?! Damn, I envy you. Wish I could have done it from the beginning. It will be a while for me before doing it.

With links front/rear you will almost certainly need sway bars both on/offroad. Waaaaay too much flex front/rear, you will feel the body roll big time!

When you go around a corner, and feel the body of the truck leaning to the side.

I removed mine after installing suspension a year ago and I tow a couple times a month when there isn't snow on the ground. Having the sway bar removed while towing is less noticeable that when I'm not towing.

The problem with disconnects is the swaybar has nowhere to go when disconnected and will contact suspension components that it shouldn't.

haha naah mann I envy your Ton's and 40's:luvya: Yeah when the rear is linked, going to have a burly sway bar for the back. Having double body roll going on as my DD is what's kept me from linking the rear already. But I have sense said F$ck it:D

I guess we all admire other rigs for different reasons haha :D

My buddy had links front/rear and body roll was significant. did a sway bar in the front first, and then another one in the rear. Different theories, some people say you only need one in the rear, some people say just one in the front. Some people do both. But with links front/rear that rig rode really nicely.
