    Dealership isn't local :)

I guess I'll just have to weigh if the $$ savings on parts is worth the warranty.

Mfg warranty for parts is usually honored by any dealership. You just need an invoice for the part.

Reminds me of a woman I see sometimes on my way to work. It's at a fairly busy 4-way stop with crosswalks. She parks on the street just before the stop sign and two boys get out with their bikes. She then walks in the crosswalk ahead of them with her hand up directing traffic to stop and wait for the boys to make it to the other side.

Apparently, she thinks people will run the boys over if she's not there to tell them to stop. Dumbest parenting shit I've seen in a long time.

I thought at my sons age (high school) I wouldn't see this shit. there is at least 4 moms that walk all the into the school to pick up there kids. also a cross walk guard. But in oak park mother fuckers dont stop and do 45 in a school zone.I would love to make my son walk but his backpack weighs about 50lbs. they make them have a separate binder for each class one them he has 2 binders plus books. soon in the future all they will need is a tablet or ipad. I wouldn't walk a mile with his backpack let alone 3 through the hood.
I have and do leave his ass at home alone. and have been since he was 10 or 11. my neighbors probably think im a bad parent. But he gets straight A's and is in advanced classes. I don't know what I did right but he's on track to be an engineer and that's his goal.

Ok, some more truck shit to talk about, for just a minute. I'll be replacing the front bumper very soon. I'm keeping the Smitty Built winch, for now. Have a synthetic line to replace the wire rope. Factor 55 fairlead hawse and flat link. Is there anything unusual I need to be aware of, or is it a simple swap?

    Joking man!

If i can do it, so can you sir. Super easy and straight forward. Pull the old line out. Disconnect. Connect the new line, and real her in under some tension

An other trick we use in the hills is to slam your fingers in a door first thing in the morning while it's cold then have someone cus at you. Just to set the mood. Then you can get things done.

This is the way I don't like to do it. So avoid this method as best you can.

Probably gonna want to polish your drum if you had wire rope on it. Or at least make sure there are no burrs before you wind the synthetic onto it.
