If you need something immediately, mine's not hooked up right now if you want to use it for the weekend. I'm travelling for Thanksgiving starting tomorrow. I'll be back next Wednesday. Also, Amesbury, Mass.

    Let me know.

Thanks man, I actually talked to a few other people before starting this. I had said to them that I'm hoping this will spread out to other areas and have different regions doing this around the country. Tacoma World is plenty big enough to have a impact for families (most importantly, kids) in need. We will just need to get other people to get it going. Hoping next year we can get maybe 3 or 4 other areas doing this as well

To anyone across the country reading this please contact your local Toys for Tots to donate (if you can).

And lastly, so much of this site is based on spending money for mods on our trucks and we don't usually think about it but I'm sure that there are people on here that are going through tough times. If your one of them please don't be afraid to contact your local T4Ts to request some gifts for your children this holiday season!

Thanks for the offer, I'm not super worried about it for this run, but seems like most people on the east here are running cbs so probably makes sense to add one

The uniden cmx760 looks pretty compact and easy to use

As with anything it's only good if the next guy has one... But the audio quality is really good and with my Yaesu mobile I've hit repeaters 20 miles away. Also the Yaesu I have has built in APRS which lets me send text messages directly to another ham or through a gate to an SMS text message. I can also use it to send my GPS coordinates via SMS message.

I don't talk on it much , but there are repeaters all over if you want to chat it up during your commute. I also use mine as a scanner able to listen into the location pd and fd frequencies
