Damnit! That didn't last long at all, I saw it last night just poking around so I added to cart then I got a first aid kit and was going to complete it this morning but it went back up! :annoyed:

Okay guys. I’m in the market. But I’m wondering if there was a more in depth description of the double or single load panels? I’m assuming it’s just the aluminum sheet that has different holes punched in it for mounting accessories...?

So much more space for the rest of my mall crawler shit. UPS guy came by a little late after the sun went down. Measure and drilled and had it mounted in under an hour. Not bad for ordering two days ago and already mounted up. I’ll get a better picture tomorrow if anyone is interested.
Edit: The Plano case is what got mounted up. Not the Prinsu. Don’t expect a Prinsu rack to be shipped and arrive in two days.

Damn, that's fast. I wonder if I'll have the same luck with my 6' shell rack.

Did you use U-Bolts? Trying to map out my mounting plan but I admittedly haven’t scoured back through the thread too far yet

Carriage bolts. 1/4 and then whatever length. I think mine are an inch or inch and a quarter. Washers on both sides and then a locknut. Kind of had to learn as I went and never found a walkthrough for mounting the Plano cases. The bottom piece of the case is 43” and the bar indents on the rack are 31” apart. 43-31 is 12”. So cut that in half and measure 6” in from the outside on both sides along the same groove and there it is. I measured many times and drilled once. Got it first try on both cases and no issues. Wish I took pictures along the way but was in a hurry with it getting so late.

Edit: I centered the handle of the case in the middle of the center two crossmembers.

    Hi all,

Need some thoughts and/or pics. I've got A KB Voodoo Bed Rack (mid height 10") with my RTT sitting on it. I love the setup, but I also want to get a 17' sea kayak on board. I'm thinking of going with a Cabrac and either a j cradle or something like the Thule DockGlide. Right now my rack and RTT are living on a hoist in my garage, so I don't have exact measurements.

I was hoping someone else has something similar and can let me know if the setup I mentioned would give the kayak enough clearance over the RTT. If not, has anyone modified the bars to give the kayak carrier a couple of extra inches? (insert joke here).

If you've got this setup and a picture, that would be awesome!

    Scott

Does any one have pics of a Baja design light bar mounted on the prinsu rack? Just ordered an onx6 40in hi power bar and wanted to see if anyone else is running the same setup and mounting ideas

I don't think that I have ever seen a curved bar on the rack before. Certainly not with the fairing

Hell ya, I can't find any pics online of the output I'd imagine it's probably extremely impressive at 46k lumens especially compared to my 14k lumen bar lol. Any output pics?

Just ordered mine for both the cab and the shell today. Man TacoZim, how the heck did you end up getting yours in two days?

Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to buy bolts that will fit within the slots for the Prinsu rails, Amazon? I also ordered a Frontrunner kayak carrier which I intend to mount on the Prinsu.
