    Just the basics
Do you have any problems with the web pattern of the insert when the lights are on?

I did. It wasn't bad with the web pattern however it was the "TOYOTA" blocking some of the Baja light output. So I switched to a Homer Raptor grille and now have no issues whatsoever. Love this grille.

How's the wind noise with it up top? Whistling noise at all?

Yeah the whistling kicks in around 50mph and is pretty visious, but i attritbute the sound towards the style of mounting brackets I chose through McMFab. The brackets themselves even have wind noise when the bar is off, but it is not as bad. Appearently you can install sound dampeners on the rear of the light, but I haven't messed around with it yet. Blast some tunes and I'm good!

It's not the brackets, it's the horizontal cooling fins on the back of the bar. Same effect as blowing across the top of a coke bottle. Mine screamed like a raped-ape and made it un-driveable until I went to the auto parts store and bought a box of the thin car door edge protector and ran it across the fins. No more screaming...

Trying not to dig through a hundred pages in this thread, but is there a minimum threshold of how many lumens you want in a light bar? Is 28800 lumens from 288 watts even worth it? Looking at an auxbeam (which looks like it comes from the same manufacturer of caliraised) with those stats. Anything with higher lumens seems to be closer to 1k in price.

All I can tell you is that my inexpensive Caliraised bar is very bright and still functioning properly.....

Did you run it across all of the fins or just the top/bottom?

Top and bottom cured most of it, but I ran it on the others as well....the top four and bottom four fins....

Purchased a new light bar. Interesting design. Super sleek and more modern looking than your traditional light bars. Blacked out inside. Looks to be a series of fog light type led projectors. Creates a super slim and wide spot beam. Couldnt find any distance output shots so figured I'd give 'er a try. If I don't like the output I'll just sell it. In need of a lil more distance output. Hopefully it'll light up far down the road, yet not interfere with my other lights and create any hotspots. They only offer a few sizes too. This one's a 28" and is the largest I could find.

Hm. Not sure what to think. Will need to test it further for long distance. Fairly impressive for what it is. Especially for $60. I've seen better tho. It is indeed just what it appeared to be, a bunch of led fog light projectors integrated into a light bar. It's different for sure, but not the most effective. More of a driving light pattern. Not sure if the output of each led is rated any higher than a regular led fog light tho. Never seen or tested those before. Got a different, purplish, Kelvin color to em too. Compared it to my 20" double row 3d with 10watt leds.

Guys/Gals, has anyone installed a Rigid Industries SR-Series PRO 20" or 30" Midnight Edition light bar on their 3rd Gen, specifically a bumper mount application? I'd love some feedback or some pickies :D.

That's not a bad light bar for someone looking to sub in for their stock highs beams. For the price I might have to buy and test as well.
