What kind of Shenanigans would I even be able to get into at Overland Expo West?

I drove out the Wedn after Jambo. Did the drive in 1 day and camped on some BLM land near the expo the first night. Camped at the expo during but will stay on BLM land if I go this year.

I may have been the one that took that picture. Met him at the expo and ran some trails on the last day before I headed to Phoenix.(edit: that was a picture that I took and sent to him after getting home. Taken just outside of Sedona about 30 minutes form the expo)

Plenty of drinking goes on. There were many booths that pulled out kegs at the end of the day. If your not in a booth theres a bunch of trails in the area! I love it out west for all the available land to go explore!

If I can make it this year I will just do a single day pass then spend most my time out on local trails enjoying the area. I did the full weekend with onsite camping last year and while it was fun it was very crowded and its pretty easy to see everything at the expo in 1 day.

You were the one that took that picture, it says thank to Jason from DFW on the caption. Expo is a week later this year, 3rd weekend in May. Trying to decide which ticket I need to buy for it.

What do you hope to get out of having your truck on display in their booth? Moneys, followers, a smug sense of superiority?

I didnt realize it was a week later this year. Thats nice because it was a pain going 2 days after Jambo. What ticket options are you debating? The Experience package is cool if you want to drive your truck on the courses they have. Its what I did last year and I didnt even drive the course, I did attend a few of the classes. Weekend pass is good for multiple days. If I go this year I will do either 1 or 2 day passes or maybe the weekend pass. I will camp off site on the BLM land that is within 15 minutes of the expo.

I saw some of you guys out a Bridgeport for the Starwood’s Veterans Day. I was in a black TJ though. Didn’t have a Tacoma yet. I just bought my truck from Toyota of grapevine!

Some people get their knickers all twisted at the thought of grown-ups playing with toys. I personally think RC is stupid but you aren't spending my money to do it so I don't really care.
