Thanks. We aren't perfect, but we do give a damn. That seems to go along way with customers. We try our very best on every order.

I love how this thread is built off a bunch of TW members claiming they can weld better, yet have minimal insite or experience on fabrication.

I'm not saying that the OP should be happy with the finished product or QA, but not all strong welds are pretty. Those welds will certainty be strong enough for a Hi-lift or slider application. No issues with strength. You're simply basing your thread off cosmetics. Another TW attribute.

The big issue that I see here is customer service. From a consumer standpoint, customer service is one of the reasons we support these smaller companies and bad service will very easily turn a potential customer off.

Nailed it. People think everything should look like weld porn here because of what they see on IG. Problem is that nobody posts their welds that don’t photograph perfectly.

I’d be more upset with the lack of customer service than with how those welds look.

Pay 500+ dollars for a pair of sliders the welds should look good. I am a fabricator. There's no excuse for that. Also the welds in the op's first picture are questionable at best from a cosmetic and structural point of view.

I know my welds are ugly, but they held. I did all the welding on this toy and I drive it like I stole it.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. Was looking at bed racks and after reading the comments here and elsewhere will pass on RCI's.

I'll pee in the pool. I have purchased three items from RCI. Love their products. Is there going to be a Spring sale? Need to add the next piece to my skids.

That was my experience as well. The powder coat has held up fine over a year. I'm ordering a 2019 pro and will remove these the put them on the new truck.

I had a similar great experience. Ordered rock sliders on-line, they were ready sooner that promised, they look great and installed without a hitch. No complaints here. I'm in Colorado and happy to have supported a hard-working local company.

Obvious question time. Did you leave all hardware loose and try and shift it outwards some?
