Glad you changed your mind... I hate getting blinded driving down the road.

Too much work? Isn’t it only a screw on each light for the cutoff adjustment?

And fogs lights are for fog... No need to run them all the time

I've done drain and fills before and they aren't bad. Ain't nobody got time for a full flush.

If I recall correctly, Toyota considers their fluid a lifetime fluid...which makes me a little nervous. To actually flush and fill is a pretty involved process, there's a few threads on it, but I think I'll do a drain and fill when the time comes.

    I do a drain/fill (not flush) every 15 - 20,000 miles.

Some say that is overkill, but dirty fluid kills your transmission.

I haven't done this yet. Do you just measure what comes out and put that much back in?

I don't usually measure what comes out. I just add 4 or 5 quarts, and set the level (using the level plug) when the trans is at temperature.

There is a possibility your fluid level is low, so always add more than you drained out, then set the level.

And, change the screen (it's not a filter) once in a while. While not a fine filter, it does trap some gunk.

Even better is to wire aux lights into high beams...

    That's what I've done

    .
Im tempted to do this. Wide cornering is a good compliment to high beam. Want to be able to use them selectively with lows when foggy or heavy rain at night though. Normally on with bright or push button anytime would be perfect.

Yup that rig is Sutton’s. I want it bad but can’t afford it. Plus I need a DD prior to another off-road rig.
