What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got any plans for the driver's side channel rubber? Want to sell it to me? Mine got ripped off in a car wash and I've been looking to replace it.

 

I had a buddy make the decal, and the locking handle is a Pop & Lock off Amazon.

Brought him down to FLA for the winter..... or technically, He brought me !

 

My only real tips are ; take your time with your fitting since it will probably be tight getting the grille halves back together, and if you use a rotary tool try to find a cutting tool meant for plastic... It'll make for a lot less cleanup after cutting if you don't have to deal with galled and melted plastic

 

These wheels were manufactured by Hutchinson USA for a DOD contract. They are two piece 16” DOT legal beadlocks. You can’t buy them over the counter. Hutchinson does make a civilian version, but there stupid expensive and a little to blingy for me. I prefer the black bomb prof style.

Had the exhaust rerouted today, along with fixing the All Pro skid to go along with it.

I liked the look of the reroute, but I am just some guy who has seen others pictures lol. It was done in stainless, so hopefully it will last a bit.

 

Let me know if you find one. Always been curious how to do it on a manual.

I shoved the end through the hole parallel to the shaft and then attached the tail through the head then snipped it off so it wouldn't fall out.

I suppose it took play out but I didn't have much noticeable play to begin with, actually had to sand down the end of the ziptie to get it to be thin enough to start into the hole, then I was able to pull it through to the standard thickness with pliers from the bottom. It didn't really want to go in, the zip tie is definitely in there tight.
