I'm always looking to improve upon products that I design and make. In the pictures shown below, you'll see the prototype for 6" high bed bars installed on my own vehicle for which I am now opening up a group buy. Before you commit to spending your hard earned money, I'd like to let you know a few things upfront. I am not going to promise you that these will be shipped overnight. What I will promise you, is that I will communicate with you in a timely and professional manner. When I say that, I mean that will be measured in minutes, to hours. Not days to weeks, or even months. You will not receive a package with missing parts. I'm not a large manufacturer by any means. I work out of my home. I'm just a little guy supporting his family.

Short or long bed doesnt matter. 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen doesn’t matter. How you space these will be based on your own preferences and needs.

    Key Features
    • Easy bolt-on installation
    • CNC laser-cut 1/4" steel mounting plates
    • Strong enough to support heavy loads such as roof-top tents
    • Can mount accessories anywhere across top, sides, or bottom of each bar
    • Can mount accessories on mounting plate itself
    • Veteran made in the USA
To mix it up a bit and make it interesting, the way this group buy will work, is for every 10th paid order, that person will receive 10% refunded back to them. For every 50th paid order, that person will receive 50% refunded back to them. For the lucky people that might land on number 100, 200, etc, you will get your order for FREE! I'll keep doing this for as long as you guys support me. This group buy is also exclusive to TW.

What each bed rack comes with:

    2 crossbars
    4 bed brackets
    All mounting hardware

    Pricing

6" height bed bars for Tacoma-
    Cost for a pair- $425 + $50 s&h
    Cost for three- $625 + $50 s&h

9" height bed bars for Tacoma-
    Cost for a pair- $475 + $50 s&h
    Cost for three- $675 + $50 s&h

*Shipping is to Continental US. Anywhere else, just contact me for a quote.

Turnaround is unknown exactly, but count on a range of 3-6 weeks. Once these are being shipped, I will contact each customer individually to give you a tracking number(s) and/or sign your email up with direct tracking updates from shipper directly.

The closing date for this group buy will be January 2, 2018.

What's the difference between these and the KB VooDoo version?

Slight angle difference. Heavier gauge metal plate/stronger.

The only attachments I personally own are the set of Rigid Industries lights I installed last night. Consider the crossbars similar to the same bars used on Prinsu racks, just larger.

I also noticed from the picture the brackets do not overhang the bedrails. I had asked KB VooDoo to make brackets that didn't overhang. I have already hit and bent the right side of the KB setup I am running now. This is the main reason I am interested

@docloco can you post a picture of a close up of the back bracket looking down the bedrail. I want to make sure my cover will fit between it.

Very stout looking system. I see your claim that they would hold a very heavy load. Any idea of an actual load rating you would say it's good for? Either as a pair of 2, or even adding a 3rd bar. Great idea of having the options of mounting above & below the bar. I like the rear light location you've done too. Good luck with your sales, and will be watchn for some feedback from your early buyers.

Thanks. I haven't had the opportunity to put a test load on it, however, from a metallurgical standpoint, it would probably exceed what the max load for the truck itself is.

Id imagine the side tracks are going to be your load factor. But i wouldnt worry about a number personally looking at it. Should hold whatever you throw at it

    Width?
Is it 6" to the top or bottom of the load bar?

Can you mount a hi lift to the vertical brackets and/or the load bars?

Can you mount traction boards underneath the load bars?

    Thanks!
