First rain, first snowflake, first day of fall, first day of daylight savings...you name it someone freaks out about it. I never saw more dry pavement rollovers than in Maryland.

I drive the speed limit or 10 under and patiently wait for douche bags that decide i’m not driving fast enough to drive 3 feet off my rear bumper with their highbeams on. I live for this

people drive slower the more north you go. when i moved to seattle i was constantly tailgating people for the first year, after a couple of years i slowed down too. now that im back in CA, i noticed myself driving 15+ mph over with everyone else again

I wish I could convince myself to become more patient but it seems like it does the opposite each year.

I agree with you 100%, more north more slow.

When douche bags tailgate with their highbeams on I like watching their little faces turn red and explode in anger as I not only ignore them but reduce speed. If they’re not smart enough to go around then they can stare at the back of my truck aww day! They do eventually decide to go around flailing their hands and mouths. It’s hilarious. When you drive the slowest vehicle on the planet you learn to deal with it. Enjoy it, actually. Edit: or the time a little puff of white hair sitting steering wheel level drives by and this little bony middle finger pops up. Priceless

Anybody texting on their stupid phones while driving. If it’s that important, pull over. I see it all the time and it pisses me off; will it be so important when you stand before a judge for vehicular manslaughter?!? Makes me wish for an EMP device to fry their cell phones.

While driving, and in the goddamn movie theater during a movie!

I'm not talking about a quick glance at their phone to check the time or respond to an important text from a family member (I've done this). I'm talking about endlessly texting, posting a status update on Facebook or sending a Tweet, or even taking a selfie. In fucking dark movie theater with the movie going! And we are not talking about one person, either...

We are talking about half a dozen or so people with glowing smartphone screens!

I've gotten into confrontations with punk kids because they were using their phones during a movie!

Older people who think it is their job to police anybody under the age of 25, and not just when it comes to driving...

This happened within a year of me getting my driver's license (May 2011), but WAY before I had the Pioneer stereo system installed in my Taco (April 2013). I'm pretty sure it was either the summer of 2011 or the summer 2012. I was going shopping at the Kohl's in the shopping center on 611 (Homer will know what shopping center I'm talking about, right next to the Barn movie theater). I driving through the parking lot, and I saw a car at a stop sign that looked like it was about to make right turn in front of me. There was another car parked curbside in the opposite direction, and an older couple was waiting to cross the street. I came nowhere near hitting them, and they were not anywhere near a crosswalk so I had the right of way. They were not actually in the process of crossing the street, either. They were just kind of standing behind a parked sedan.

I drove past them going a wee bit too fast, and a hear the man bellow "STOP!" Out of reflex, I slam on the brakes and he comes running up to my Taco. I had the window down, and he immediately starts berating me and lecturing me (You know, typical "grumpy old man/whippersnapper" bullshit). He then makes the mistake of getting really close to my truck and it seemed as though he was about to reach through the window. I floor it and drive away from the guy. Unfortunately, Kohl's was right there, and I wasn't about to let some 50-something parking lot hall monitor get in the way of my plans. I pulled my Tacoma into a parking space in front of the Kohl's, and Kojak walked over to a late model Audi parked nearby, but he doesn't get in the car. He just stands there with the door open, staring at me. I was afraid to get out of the truck and afraid to leave the truck. I didn't know if this guy was going to come up and confront me again, vandalize my truck, or come over to my truck and take a picture of my license plate after I went inside. He wasn't leaving, so I called my mom, explained what had happened, and asked her what I should do. For the entire time I was on the phone, Kojak just stood next to his Audi staring at me. After several minutes, he finally got in his car and left. I hung up with my mom, went inside Kohl's, and went shopping without incident. Nothing like that has happened since...

In 2010, when I was still on my learner's permit and not allowed to drive by myself, I was driving to my friend's house (in my 2010 Taco) with my mom in the passenger seat. It like 7pm or so and it had already gotten dark. I was on 611, in the left lane, headed towards Plumsteadville, doing roughly the speed limit (55 MPH). All of a sudden, this prick in a Chevy motorhome like the one in the picture below decides he wants to go faster, gets in the left lane, and roars up behind me...

He may have beeped his horn, but I don't remember for sure. What I do remember is that turned on his highbeams and blinded me. If I'd been by myself, I would have flipped him off at a bare minimum, but my mom was right there. I also wanted to stay in the left lane and go slow, just to piss him off, but my mom made me get into the right lane...

    Overly polite drivers...

I will cut one or two motorists in who are waiting to make a turn if it is safe for me to stop. Cutting breaks is what all courteous motorists should do.

In either 2014 or 2015, I went to this rat rod-themed car show on the grounds of the Silver Creek Athletic Association, in Springtown, Pennsylvania. This woman in a Hyundai Elantra was in front of me, and she was the only vehicle blocking me from making a right turn and thus getting to the car show. For some reason, nobody was directing traffic. This woman stops, needlessly, and lets two or three vehicle make left turns into the car show. The next vehicle in like is a Chevy Silverado pulling a classic car on a trailer. There's a line of vehicles forming behind me, and this woman is about to let the Silverado in, but I'm not having it. I lay on the horn, and she continues on her way...

I would have just left and came back later...not worth the hassle of getting in trouble or hurt for some traffic cop wanna be. But in this day and age you have to watch out for the psychos that could try to kill you for something minor. We had one road rage incident here that a guy cut off another dude and the guy that got cut off followed him and ended up tying him to a tree, getting his bank card and pin # and ended up killing him.

It never fails that when I'm hauling something that I feel a little uneasy about that a wanker will tailgate so hard that they can smell what I had for lunch. There will all kinds of open lanes, but the wanker won't pass.

When you rightfully beep at somebody and they still seem to get annoyed at you. My boss lives on a one-way street with numerous residential buildings, a few commercial buildings, and church. There is parking on either side of the street. What this translates to is very poor visibility when pulling out of a driveway on this street...

Today, not 10 minutes prior to me posting this, there was this guy in a white GMC Savana box van. He was waiting to make a left. I had n reason to believe he was going to go...

However, he started to roll out of the driveway and I laid on the horn. He slammed on the brakes and gave me a frustrated look as he waved me past...

Excuse me?!?! I have the right of way and I don't want the left side of my truck sliced open like a soup can!

Same street, sometime in late 2016 or early 2017. I believe there was still snow on the ground. As a result, cars had to park farther from the curb, making the road narrower.

There was this 20-something blonde woman standing next to her black crossover (I know it was an import, like a Tiguan or an Outlander or something) with the driver's door open, digging around in her purse. Because of the snow, I can't drive around her, so I initially wait patiently. She glances back after what seems like an eternity, notices me, and sits down behind the wheel of her generic black crossover. However, she doesn't shut the damn door!

Fed up, I just lay on the horn, and this ditz finally pulls the door shut, giving me enough room to squeeze by.

A short time later, I saw her drive past my boss's house, and she was texting! Not only that, she was hauling ass! Doing at least 40 MPH on a narrow residential street with a speed limit of 25 MPH! And texting no less! WTF?!?!

My boss normally gets annoyed at me for beeping at people, but when I told her about this incident, she believed the woman deserved to be honked at.
