    Hey all,

Just moved into a new apartment complex and apparently they have some weird agreement with a no-name internet provider called Telecom that has absolutely terrible service. I guess they charge $60 bucks a month plus random fees for 15mbps internet that barely works. I have a coworker that lives in the same complex and he can attest to the fact it's not even worth paying for.

I'm looking for other options as I cannot use anybody else that's wired like COX, Verizon, Comcast because they are blocked from the complex. My only option now is getting a mobile hotspot from my phone company Sprint.

Does anyone have any insight into this? I use my internet heavily for gaming and streaming so I'm trying to figure out what the best of the two evils is here.

    Thanks for any guidance!

Thanks for the info. You're right they throttle it after 23gb (Sprint). Looks like the hunt continues.

I would have everybody sign a petition wanting more service providers or something. You shouldn't have to settle.

So I had a friend move in to the same complex and she got a Sprint Mobile Hotspot. She's able to stream at standard definition on two screens. I'm going to bring my Xbox over and try it out.

Side note, I called Cox Cable to cancel service and they were extremely surprised they couldn't give me service. Might be worth making a call to them with someone with some weight in the company.
