Is the toprac compatible with Rhino Tracks?

I forgot to order the edge trim when I ordered the cabrac, and since shipping is killer if you order just the trim, I took a chance on some from Amazon. It seems to work pretty well. I got a five foot piece and cut it to size, since the center part of the fairing is slightly more than 36". I think the three foot piece would be fine if it is centered, since not 100% of the bulb is touching the roof.

I got the t-slot covers at the same time, and the combination of both has reduced the noise pretty significantly. The t-slot covers are unavailable on Amazon right now, but they have them at 8020.net.

I think all the Rhino, Yamika, and Thule tracks are all the same.

Thanks man! If you ask me, it still looks the same as the day I bolted it down. 20170902_070847.jpg

Are the feet on the toprac adjustable width wise?

If your tracks are more narrow than the width of the standard bar yes. If larger you'd have to get custom bars cut.

Thanks. I'm gonna be drilling straight into my cap roof because it's a reinforced contractor one, so wanted to make sure I could miss the internal reinforcements.

I need to contact LEER and see. That'd be tricky because they're like 3" deep, so I'd need some long bolts. I doubt LEER would help me out though, and just refer me to an installer.

I found another member on here with the 100RCC and a rack that says it's just drilled straight through, so I'm asking him where it's drilled through. Either way I'm about to buy the rack tonight for my cap :D

Haven't really seen a pic, but for curiosity sake, anybody mounted up some old school style lights to their Prinsu? Always did like the trophy truck look. :mudding:

Anyone else have issues with the Prinsu supplied hex bolts? I sheered the heads off three of them yesterday while working on the rack. Turned a simple 1hr job (if that) of installing a plano case into a 4hr complete disassembly and reassembly of the rack. Tempted to just replace them all.

Alrighty folks. It's looking like winter might actually be making its way here eventually so I wanted to get my gear as easily accessible as possible for quickly getting in and out of the truck when it's in the single digits. The fly fishing rack is the Denver Outfitters(formerly Titan) rod vault and the ski racks are the generic 4 board Thules that everyone had 10 years ago. I wanted to maintain a low profile so I opted against using the mounts that would attach to bars for both and instead attached directly to the 80/20 bars. For the ski racks I just sliced off the mounting hardware and bored the hole out to the point it was big enough to accept the eye nuts that Zach included. The rod vault is held in place by square ubolts. I still have to loctite the nuts and maybe get a cable lock up there as well.

3” lift. 17 trd wheels. 285 70R17 AT Toyo Open Countries. Prinsu Toprac, CBI Offroad T3 front Bumper, Warn 8000s Winch. A.R.E Cap. Prinsu Cap Rack. Bussman RTMR. Heritec 40 LED, and 20 LED. Weathertec floor mats.
How do y’all tie down your Plano cases to the roof rack. Ratchet straps are too short to work with the circular ties downs. I’m tempted to drill holes thru thru plano case and secure down with nuts and washers.

2" square u bolts wrap perfectly around the crossbars and are the best option IMHO. I have done both bolts into the box from the crossbar channels and the square u bolts. If you find yourself in a lot of off camber positions or just want ultimate piece of mind, get the square ubolts

Yep, that's the way to do it. Can use 1/4" carriage bolts, or some square U bolts

Anyone using their Tacoma Cabrac to carry a canoe with? Do you use the tie down eyenuts to secure the canoe or will the rack except the Yakima Keelover Canoe mounts, or something similar?
