@SC2SC you upgraded your brakes, correct? What did you end up going with?

    Yup!

    EBC BDS Rotors:

    http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/ebc-bsd-rotors

    EBC Green Supreme 7000 Pads:

    http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/ebc-bsd-rotors

Love them. Shredded my OEM brakes on my big cross country wheeling trip, loaded down this past summer. EOM typically have strong initial bite- that seemed "hard", followed by a quick fade.

New set up is silky smooth, silent, and get much stronger as I brake. Much more refined, and yes, truck stops much quicker/easier- but not overly aggressive. I did bed them in to the point of smoking- per instructions, (would have killed OEM pads).

Cold braking is good. Brakes are warmed after I get out of my neighborhood; they get better and better.

I was considering the Power Stop Z36 kit. Did you consider that kit or just go straight with the EBC stuff?

Yes- did lots of research. I am sure they may be fine, but- did not want cross drilled rotors; concerned about mucky water/mud from wheeling would get in the cross drilled holes and into the center cooling fins. Also, I did not want shiny rotors. I believe they are also made in China. There are other rotors just like it also made in China. (not necessarily a bad thing)

EBC is made in England, and Las Vegas if I recall correctly.

    I had also considered these:
