change switch color

    I pulled out the orange lights from my switches (the side airbags, fog, etc).

    Found out they are tiny bulbs with orange coating.

    Anyone changed them to another color? I thought of replacing with LEDs but I would need resistors, and it's tight in there.

    Can we buy 2mm colored plastic caps to put back instead of the orange?

    oznium sells LEDs, and I actually have 3 sizes here.

    I checked the resistance of the bulb and it's like 20.7 Ohm
    the same size LED is ~1M Ohm

    hence my comment about putting a resistor, which would be a PITA to do with the space provided
