    I wonder if this will work with a diamond back cover?

    This is what the attachment bracket looks like. I'm thinking it will work.

    I had a feeling if I waited long enough you would put out something that worked with the oem tonneau cover. Can you just confirm that this will work with OEM tonneau cover and whats the difference in the mounting brackets listed on the website? I have 2016 Tacoma with the bed rail so I think I need the T slot nut mount. Do you have an accesory that will mount a shovel to the side rail? What size leg rail is shown in the first post pics above?

    Where have you been? We have three bed racks and two different crossbars that work with the OEM cover.

    Yes, you would need the T Slot attachment.

    I meant one that allows the OEM Tonneau to open. Its hard to get firewood out when its stacked up in the front of the bed without opening the tonneau. I think this what Im looking for. What are the cross bar dimensions? Im going to mount a rod vault to it and need to make sure it will work.

    The crossbar dimensions are 1.125" x 3.125". Most anything will clamp to it.

    People normally use Quick Fists for shovels and jacks.

    Okay. That should work. One more dimension to make sure I get tall enough legs. Whats the dimension of the triangle bracket that connects the leg to the cross bar? Also, the leg has the same dimension as the cross bar, correct?

    The triangle gusset is 4” x 4”.

    The crossbar dimensions that I gave you were for the center steel section. Subtract 1/8” in each direction for the aluminum parts.

    The aluminum extrusion used for the crossbar is the same as what is used on the legs.

    I understand the appeal of this is being able to open the tonneau cover. But would you consider offering additional sets of cross bars for a lower second level? Because I would love to have the kayaks up top and maybe a cooler and some firewood below in a rack. The reason I ask is because I run out of storage space when I hook up the pop up for camping weekends with the mrs..

    Do you have any pics of this rack with a Softopper? I've got a Gen2 AC and I was going to use your bed rails to direct mount the Softopper frame to. If I went this route I'd need a 58" long rack with T-slot bed attachments and a 22" or taller height, correct?

    @kbVoodoo I love this rack.

    I wonder if you've seen anyone mount your rack to a bed that also has an Ionic Tonneau cover? This type of cover has a rail that presses flush to inside of the bed cap and between the rail and the bed cap there's some rubber seal. Looks like this:

    upload_2018-1-19_14-59-3.jpg

    I'm thinking if I cut away some of the rubber seal it would leave enough of a gap to drop your bracket down to the clamp rail. How thick is the metal on your bracket that bends around the top of the bed cap?
