We have all seen guys turning their rigs into a Pro with Pro parts. Wonder if there are anybody that actually went all the way and bought all the Pro components and made their own Pro from an OR/Sport/Limited/SR5/SR. If so let's see it! I'm talking the whole 9 yards: Fox Shocks, Pro leather seats, wheels, grill, fog lights, skid plate, shift knob, front & rear tail lights, hood with scoop, all badging. Did I miss anything? I know the "Sport guys" already have the hood with the scoop.

Waste of money to go non pro to pro, hell for that matter you can build a better truck for less coin by starting with a base.

This. If you want to be pro, buy a pro. If you want to build up a stock truck just build a Pro killer for quite a few $$$ less... I am sure someone has come close to what you are referring to OP, I just have a hard time rationalizing why.

It really cannot be cheaper to buy another model and then buy all of the pro parts. I don't see why someone would want to do it that way, with the goal of doing the full on deal.

    was going to mention citadel

    same same

By all accounts it's a questionable thing to do. I mean, why? Seriously. If you want a pro buy a pro...piecing it together is going to cost more and be worth less.

The OR and Pro are practically the same truck both have crawl control. Only difference is the cosmetics, TRD skid, and a different suspension. I'm quite content with my OR. Plus most people who've bought the pro has already changed the suspension or wheels. It's not worth it to me. I rather build the truck I want and have something better and also cheaper.

I accidentally made my truck a semi Pro-seur

Sport Hood (got the factory hood replaced with a Sport hood from a wreck)
BLHM (did this when retrofitting RX350's)
16" Pro Wheels (to clear 285's on stock suspension, plus I just like the way they look)
Chinese Pro grill (well, because it was cheap as fuck)

I'm all for Pro clones. I did a cost check and you'll be spending roughly the same as a Pro, unless you can get some major deals on the hood, headlights, suspension, and leather interior. The thing is, 2018 models now have leather, so it's even better now. You can also get a better than Pro suspension for about the same price or less than the factory Fox shocks. You'll also have a moon roof, and JBL audio (both not available on Pro). Add in the fact that many dealers mark up the Pro by 5-10k, a Pro clone makes a lot of sense. I do think it should at least be an offroad model to be considered a true clone though.

I wanted an Access Cab and Blazing Blue Pearl which are not available in the PRO.

So I’m slowly upgrading mine with PRO parts. Obviously not going to be a PRO clone but an off-road with PRO parts.

I put a Pro Grille, Tails, and Shift Knob on my truck but not trying to turn it into a Pro Clone.
