So starting this week everytime I would go to drive my truck after it had been idle for a long time (night/work) and take it out of Park into Drive it won’t coast forward. It felt as if the brake was engaged but it wasn’t. It only takes a little acceleration and after a couple minutes of driving all is well again. I don’t engage the E-brake when the truck is idle unless I’m on an incline, and the E brake sticks whenever I use it for a decent period of time also.

When I have time this weekend I’ll take a look at the rear drums, brake cables, etc and see if I can find anything obvious, but I wanted to see if there’s anything I should prepare or watch out for before hand.

Edit: I posted this while I was in my truck parked eating before my final in a bit, and it is sticking.... only 10 minutes maybe?

What would that look like if was to take a look at the drums? Excessive oil/grease?
