This is gonna be the most common form of tool to remove and install ball-joints. Most automotive shops will rent/loan these out.

Is that a new design or did you guys do this on your own? My caps were so rusted on it took almost an hour on each side to get them off. Whole thing was filled with water and was rusted on.

Mine did the same thing, even after filling them with grease to create a good seal. Guess I'll use them until they need a new bj or something and buy something else after.

To me they are definitely not for New England weather at all this is why I went jba don't got to worry about any Caps or not being able to take the ball joints out in the driveway and any of that crap. Honestly the worst set of upper control arms that I ever owned 18 to 20 thousand miles on them and I was a pavement princess in the boots were ripped and I was pretty much told to go eat glass. So never will I ever recommend camburg upper control arms to anybody I'll always refer to light Racing's or jbas Better Built better Castor and not as expensive

@SoJersey They have been working out great, lots of good feedback from customers who have been using them. We'll be supplying them with our arms once we get this production run back from powdercoat. Haven't seen many issues with the Moog boots lately either so that's a good sign that their quality control has improved.

Are the new poly boots able to be ordered separately? I found some prothane ones that work pretty well but at full droop the boot almost comes off the inner edge of the top ball joint cup and let’s a little grease out. If the ones you all have are working well, I’d rather go that route

Not sure how much snow/salt Jersey gets compared to MA but the caps tend to rust on and it fills with moisture even with greasing between the cap seals

Totally true if you are in the New England salt belt area do not waste the money on these. Go with JBA or LR UCA's I sold my 600.00 Camburgs for 200.00 after a little over a year and a half. Caps seized on and it took an hour on each side to get them off, and after they were off there was water in there and tons of rust. For 450.00 shipped you can't go wrong with the JBA's or LR UCA's as you can change the Ball Joint right in the driveway. And Marlin of JBA now offers rebuildable ball joints. Plus with my 3 inch lift I was never able to get above 2.5 to 2.7 Caster. JBA's I am at 3.7 Caster. And after complaining to Camburg they reworded their website to say up to 3 inches of lift but recommended for 2.5 of lift.
