    Hey Guys!

Figured I'd post this up in case anyone was wondering what it would take to paint match the letters on their TRD Pro Grill.

    • Buy your paint
    • I went to O'reillys and bought https://www.pepboys.com/product/details/158482/01036
    • Remove the grill
    • Two 10mm bolts and two plastic fasteners retain the grill
    • Remove the grill letters
    • I used a large punch to do this, on each letter, there are two tabs that are used to center the letter on the grill. Position the punch on the letters and press out until the letters come off the double sided tape holding them on.
    • The tape should not come off, after you're done painting you can simply heat them up with a hair dryer/heat gun and push them back on.
    • Painting the letters
    • I sanded each letter with 800 grit sand paper and then rubbed them down with alcohol
    • I placed each letter on to a piece of cardboard so that it would be easy to handle
    • I applied four coats of duplicolor and waited for it to dry
    • Then press the letters back onto the grill and reassemble!
I think it pops a lot more than the vinyl decals I had on the grill previously. Let me know what y'all think!
