Not a dan of carfax. I work at a cat dealership and see the other side of carfaxes. Cheaper to go to the dmv and get there report.

Only thing that they find is what dealership post and insurance companies. Saw some report clean title but actually had a salvage title from another state. Or major repair done that was never reported. I did a carfax on my vin for a 93 pickup came up clean, 2nd engine 3 accident never showed up. My rear frame is destroyed behind my springs. First engine went under warranty. Which i still think it was my fault bought the truck 3 days latter got orders to somalia, sat in storage for 2 yrs before i saw it again. Oil leaked out everywhere when i stated it up.riverside toyota treated my extreamly well at that time. But still my dd.

Hmmm.. very interesting.. i had a feeling it might be like that. A while back my sister was shopping for an avalon. Came back with clean carfax, but turned out the car had serious water damage..

Nice looking truck! How many miles on the body?

One thing that i dont like about it is the cheesy skid plates under the front. Look like it will shatter with the first rock encounter20171204_134307.jpg .

Is it normal for the Skid Plate to stick out? OR do they usually tuck it up underneath?

that skid plate is mostly for show.the factory skid plate should still be on the truck underneath it.

Took the truck through a friends plowed field in 4hi acts like it has traction control. Does the 08 tacoma have traction control and if so where is the switch to turn it off. And who in there right mind would put steet tires on a tacoma. Also wish i can lock the rear diff in 4hi or 2wd if needed.
