The math checks out. The $236 is 10% of the 20% off price.
Unfortunately they've set up their cart to only charge the 10% deposit amount, and don't have any disclosures about the fact that the remaining 90% will be due at some point.

20% off of $2,949.00 is $2,359.20
10% of $2,359.20 (the deposit) is the $236 in my cart.

I will say this about the Redwood tent. If you’re running a swing out with tire carrier. It can only mount at roof line. That thing is super long.

Patiently waiting. January camping trip to break it in. Might go with the new Thule Xsporter in black for adjustability to keep it low for transit and high for annex. Easy to remove and store. Apparently got the last Tamarack in spruce green until spring
