So its confirmed guys, the frame is definitely bent. I had my fingers crossed that i may had found the issue when i saw the lower rear control arm mount bent but even after that was repaired i still have the issue. My mechanic had it up on the rack and was able to show me how tweaked the frame was. Im dropping it back off at the dealer i purchased it from on Thursday so im hoping they do the right thing or else this may turn out to be a real mess. Thanks everyone for the tips and answers, greatly appreciated!

It's kind of hard to notice until you know what your looking for... than it's really obvious. I'd find it hard to believe the dealer didn't know something was off with it before they sold it to you. I see your in Safford, which dealer did you buy from?

Edit: just realized this thread is a little old but I'm genuinely curious what happened.

Devo hasn't been here since that last post. He probably traded it in on a Ridgeline.

Hi guys, sorry i didn't get a update in earlier, so to make a very long story as short as i can, i went back and forth with the dealer for weeks after they promised to make this right. I live in Safford but i purchased the vehicle in Tucson here in Arizona. Im not sure if its ok to name the dealer here in the forum but if it is i would like to do that. The owner of the dealership is a real tool and was a real jerk for the most part of this whole fiasco. The salesmen i dealt with was more understanding of the whole issue and wanted to make things a 100% right but i believe the owner was really restricting him on what to say and do. I don't believe they had any intentions to make this right in the beginning, i actually called the credit union who did my financing and does pretty much a 100% of their financing and explain to them what was going on and what kind of dealership they were working with that was selling vehicles with frame damage. I believe they made the call to the owner and pretty much told him he needed to make this right. Just my opinion. They took the truck back and promised to have it fixed at a frame shop in Tucson. It was there at that shop for almost 2 months all the while im making payments on the truck. I finally got the truck back with the shop saying it was all fixed and they gave me a print out of the alignment specs they had done on the truck and everything looked good. Well after i drove it home the 120 miles on the freeway everything seemed good until i started braking here in town, every time i would hit the brakes it would slightly pull to the right. After i pulled into my driveway i noticed the passenger side was still not sticking outside the fender as much as the driver side. You really have to look closely and its my dang fault for not really inspecting it like i should of at the shop, otherwise i would of left it there until it was back to Toyota specs. Totally my fault. I didn't even try to make to call back to the dealership to complain it still wasn't right, this whole mess has been the biggest headache of my life and i just was finished with trying to argue with them anymore. I know most people would say why the hell aren't you taking the truck back and demanding it be fixed right, and they are right in saying that, i really don't have a better answer other then i just cant put myself through that hell again cause that's what it has been. I pretty much gave up and im just dealing with a truck now that has a slightly bent frame and a truck that slightly pulls to the right when i brake. I believe i can get adjustable upper control arms and it will fix my issue, its just a matter of paying the $500.00 for the cost of them. I really do appreciate all your guys help in all the questions i asked. I do apologize about not giving a update on my whole fiasco. If it is ok to name the dealership please let me know because at this point that's all i have left is to possibly warn others who may be looking to purchase a vehicle from this shady dealership.

The least you should do since you don't want too deal with them ,is hand them the bill for the new UCA's,and they don't like it then tell them too fix the truck again themselves.

Or have the dealer do a frame swap, (don’t know why this wasn’t done first)

Sorry for what you've been through but that is totally unacceptable! I'd take it straight back to the frame shop and if it cannot be fixed, back to the dealer.

Man that's crazy. Well I know of at least two used car dealers here in Tucson that are shady as shit and it wouldn't be surprising at all to me if it came from either of them.

I know you are done and don't wanna deal with it but damn dude I think it's really unacceptable how they did you. At least your alignment numbers are in spec now.

Man I feel for you and understand how you must feel- best down. Try to dig down deep and fight for what is right. On the surface you might feel like you’re fighting this battle for you, but if this dealer gets their ass handed to them you could be helping to prevent this from happening to someone else too. Have you thought of reporting the dealership to the better business bureau. If they’re a Toyota dealership then I’d call corporate Toyota as well. Lastly, there may possible be a frame recall from Toyota that could get you a new frame- not sure about the years for this. Sorry again to hear about this and you’ve been through so much. This guy might piss off the wrong person one of these days and may find himself in a shollow hole somewhere in the middle of the desert.

I'd also personally like to know which dealer this was so I can avoid them, please private message me if you don't feel comfortable posting it on here.
