Quick question- cleaning out bottom of cowl.

My truck has an accumulation of leaves & debris that fall down cowl & collect at bottom behind front wheels. I can pull back the black plastic & get my hand in there but there has to be a better way. I haven’t looked close to see what’s involved to remove that panel in wheel well due to my knee surgery. Does the whole panel have to come out? Does the painted flare or whatever you call it on side of fender need to be removed? I thought I’d ask before I pull a wheel & crawl under there. Probably will do when I get time, in no hurry. Some info would help.

 

Compressed air works pretty well...

 

I use a vacuum but the Harbor Freight looks promising - sure worth a try for less then $4 - thanks for the link.

You will of course need an air compressor.

 

I have a IR 80 gal 2 stage so I got that covered. I also have one of those long blow guns like linked above- mine telescopes & is longer. I’ll have to give that a try.

 

i use a vacuum with a small tip on it. one of those 3 finger grabber tools works good too

 

Shop Vacuum and a crevice tool.
