LOL, I don't want to mount these until I get my wheels, which won't be until around March'ish of next year. I want to get 15x8 Black Rock Wheels with -13mm offset (will make the wheels stick out a bit farther). My only concern is that I may have to chop a little off the truck, but I'm only willing to do that to the bumper. I, more or less, want to keep the truck stock, but try to have a little more of an upgrade at the same time. I've been able to do that so far.

I want to get the same front suspension you got as well.

Did you get your UCA's yet???

Nice man. Not yet on the UCAs. I spoke with the company on Wednesday and was told they're getting powder coated and that they should have them back Friday. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow and see where they're at. My dad is is their area on Tuesdays so might pick them up

Yeah, I was scurred doing that, but luckily didn't feel any binding in the wheels that day and disengaged 4wd as soon as I got to work. I just wanted to see how much of a difference there was and man did it make a whole lot of difference!!! Just like when you told me to, next time, try 4lo going up the hill at Santiago Peak... LOL... NEVER forgot about that since!!!:fistbump::bowdown: F'N ROOKIE!!!:bananadead: LMAO!!!:laugh::rofl:

@Nicklovin Nick, when I say "stock", I mean it as not doing very much altering of the frame and what not. But as far as suspension engine and such, upgraded parts/accessories, but somewhat stock in that sense.

Engine, I want to eventually get LCE and/or Doug Thorley headers. I also want to get the LCE SC (low boost... CA legal) I actually like whatever power the truck has now, but just want to give it that little extra hp. But yeah, the LCE low boost is pretty much straight bolt-on and no piggy-backing the computer module or having to drill/modify anything else. Although LCE sells some setup to give approx. 10hp extra boost with the SC, but you have to take the front engine cover off and do some engine modifications (nothing really all that major), but it just isn't worth it to me.

Suspension, I want to get Camburg UCA's, Front/Rear Icon extended travel suspension, and All-Pro rear leaf (std).

That is really just about it. Although, I will admit that I am thinking about sliders, but I don't know if I want weld-ons??? I will most likely do that eventually?

Yeah, the reason I will most likely do the weld-ons!:D:p I want to have that "extra protection" for my rocker panel area. Ever since @ODNAREM Ron's rock at Cleghorn, that shi* forever burned an image in my mind.:bananadead: LOL!!!:laugh::rofl:

My end goal I already have in mind. I want a little bit more with wheel travel than what I have now and just a bit more hp's. I actually like what I have now, but just want a little more hp as I really don't plan on towing shi* anyways other than what I put in the bed for camping stuff. Even just a little bit more hp is fine with me. But, I will admit that I have given the thought about do I really need that extended travel setup? That's the only real back and forth I've been doing with the suspension.

Other than that, more attennas are planned to be put on!!!:D:p LMAO!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Shit Randy, I wish I knew you were tire hunting. I have some General Grabber AT2s in that size that I'm getting rid of. Virtually brand new, just didn't like them for what I do. Ended up getting bigger KO2s.

Looks like you have some interesting future mods in mind. Interested to see how it comes out. I have a love/hate relationship with my Thorley headers, not sure how the ones are for your truck

That's a very logical reason why right there. As I mentioned, your hanger looks very strong, I have nothing negative to say about your build strength or craftsmanship. As you mentioned I'm not familiar with what relocating the pivot does. If you read back, I was in full support of both yours and BAMFs and my opinion only changed once I was made aware of the change in pivot position. I'd love to read some reviews in a variety of conditions as to how it'll effect the ride quality. In Southern California we have high speed desert and slow speed crawling. The stock positioning works decently for both. If yours caters towards one or the other I'd like to know and can then make an educated recommendation tailored to the end users needs.
Hope that all makes sense. Pretty exhausted from Joshua Tree.

I think not knowing is a good reason to dig in and ask why, not blindly decide against something. Basikbiker also knows that moving them back is better, he set up Nick Delucas truck, and tried to tell them.

Maxx Powell has the Hammer hangers installed and noticed the ride improvement. He also checked droop with shocks unbolted, and said he was impressed, needs longer brake lines to.

Yeah finally. Took months of back and forth arguing with them about it. At the end the guy I was talking to tried to tell me it was my fault the pipes were coming off, I almost lost my shit when I read that. A few days later I got an email from one of the head guys apologizing for the other guy, said he was fired for bad service. He continued saying my pipes were made in a known bad batch and that he would send me more along with some free merch as an apology. Took about a month and a half for me to get the new shit.

Problems didn't end though, my read valve almost shook its way right off the header due to a bad sleeve and it took me two weeks to get ahold of them. Emailed them, called them, no reply. Finally got ahold of the head guy again and he told me I'd have to wait another weak to get a new sleeve and that he didn't have any merch left to fulfill his promise.

Edit: this is the readers digest version, I had so many problems with them it would be a novel of a post

That's fair. I recommended something I'm familiar with, not what I've researched. I was fully onboard until I learned about the change in suspension geometry. I do have a couple questions to become more informed on the benefits of your product. Hopefully this will help Sandz as well.

Here you state improved bump and droop. I understand with the addition of the shock relocation and the new hanger you could have improved droop travel. How does your hanger provide improved bump travel?

Please correct me if I'm wrong here, but the leaf springs most of us are using (Deaver, OME Dakars, All Pro) are designed with stock front and rear mounting locations, correct?
By relocating the pivot point how does this yield better suspension travel over the stock location?

Yeah, I eventually need new tires. I still have quite a bit of tread, but it was time to just start the next set along with my wheels that I've been wanting for so long... finally. Also, I've been wanting 31's for quite a few years, just never did anything with it. I'm going to keep my stock wheels and put some tires on them eventually as well.

Regarding the headers, I want the LCE headers more than the Thorley's, but the LCE headers requires relocation of the automatic transmission dipstick according to their site/information. I like the LCE headers as the tubing is longer to the collector. I don't know if the tri-y design of the Thorley compensates for this?

Plus, I have other plans that I've been wanting to add to the truck and have already done/completed some of the work. I installed, close to 2yrs here pretty soon, a tranny temp gauge sending unit. I have it tied into the rubber hose instead of the "hardline". For sig GND, I just soldered a grounding wire to the brass y-adapter. It works pretty good as I have already tested it. Just need to do the a-pillar setup now. I also bought a
Hayden oil cooler unit about the same time and plan on using it for the tranny fluid. I don't need it as I don't really haul anything, but it's there if ever needed.

Anyways, I've got projects started in one area and stopped in others!!! :rolleyes:o_O:annoyed::facepalm: LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    LMAO!!! :laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::D:p

Mike, thanks for looking into it, and asking for explanation. I do think the Hammer hangers will droop better than my shackle flip, and definitely have better bump travel than flip (shackle flip increases negative arch at full bump over stock hangers).
I know the HH will droop better than stock, here's why. Most spring over packs fully arched up are longer eye to eye than the distance between the front hanger bolt and the rear shackle bolt (when horizontally laid out).
The springs won't fit down in with stock shackle hanger pivot location.
Now take a look at all the designed SUA kits (DMZ Giant), full droop happens with shackle fully laid out.
Archive is first and only to try to do the same for spring over packs. Some of the expo packs may still have trouble getting shackle to lay out, but i know it will be better than stock location for sure.

Besides that, the stock hangers are the worst part Toyota ever made, they are so flimsy they introduce chatter into the rear suspension and give it that signature Tacoma twerk. Like a spring attached to a spring! It's partially why a TRDPro can't hang with a ZR2, the rear end gets so upset. It's not the frame, springs or shocks, it's the hangers.
