Hell, my 06 DCSB is having trouble idling. I had to rev it up to keep it alive before putting it in reverse. Once I got into drive it would idle, but lower than normal. And when I would give it slightly more throttle it wouldn’t shift on time or unless I eased up on throttle. I think it’s a fuse/electrical problem. Thinking of just driving it to the stealership tomorrow and pay what it cost to get it sorted. thoughts and suggestions welcomed. Thank you!

It also threw these codes 2 start and stops before it began to act up. Unfortunately I don’t have access to the scanner anymore.

Seems to be the o2 sensors before and after the cat. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes?

I am the least mechanical person on TW perhaps, but from what I've read a dirty throttle body can cause idling problems. My dealership charges about $200 to clean it.

You keep blowing fuses! Try unplugging the 02 sensors and see if it drives better. The truck can run with all of them unplugged. One of them could be shorted and causing fuses to blow. Replace all the fuses and see if they keep blowing. You can narrow down the circuit with the short by plugging them back in 1 at a time.

Get a scanner to read the o2 voltages

You can clean it yourself with a can of $4 MAF sensor cleaner and a ice cold tall boy.

I just took the easy way out and brought it to the dealership to get checked out :bananadead:
They’ll know how to fix it better than I.

So here’s what happened. I took the truck to the dealership and had them scan it, turns out the truck started blowing fuses, some stray wire above the pedal area was making contact with something and shorting something out. They sorted the short. But I’m turn it had made the o2 and AF sensors go bad. They said 2 o2 sensors and 2 AF sensors and possibly a throttle body. For all that they wanted to charge me 2500$!!!! 1100$ for the throttle body alone. So I took the truck home. Going to do it myself.

I was wondering what knowledge of the sensors I need to replace can be offered to me. I know that The AF before the cat and the o2 after ? Any advice/links or insight is appreciated !

This doesn't sound right to me. If something was shorting to ground doesn't the ground protect the equipment? What i REALLY don't understand is how a short would make you need a new throttle body?! Throttle body SENSOR maybe, but the throttle body itself? IDK.
