3rd gen LED Headlight upgrade without existing LED DRL

    Recently saw these on eBay, and they look pretty nice. My question is this:

    I have a 2016 SR, and I do not have the LED DRL strip in my current headlights. I was wondering if there is something I can do to accommodate these lights so that the LED strip will work before I buy them. I have alittle wiring knowledge and didn't know if I could use the DRL wires that go to my blinker and run them to the LED or something along those lines without messing up my blinker?

    I saw that other people who have the 2016 have been just cutting the plug off the 2017 LED DRLs and just splicing it onto the stock wiring harness. My question is, will I need to put a ballast or something in between the new LED DRL and the old factory wiring harness? I definitely don't want to destroy my new lights.This is a pair of someone else's lights that I was looking at. Thank you for any helpIMG_2369.jpg

    No. The LED DRL boards take raw 12v. No regulator/ballast/etc needed. All the current drivers are board mounted internally.
