I’ve been taking care of my mother in law for the last hour. She’s sick and on codeine, she keeps trying to answer her remote control. I had to hide the controller for her bed, she had it tilted all the way up trying to answer it. Getting old sucks. I’m about to do the airplane trick to get her to eat. :-/

 

Was pure pandemonium, didn't really have time to be honest.

Completely relate. We took care of my MIL for years after her 2 strokes and Alzheimers. My wife had to do things to her mother that no child could ever imagine they would have to do with a parent. She died of a heart attack right in front of my wife on Easter morning.

Her dad is in the final stages of congestive heart failure....plus his mind is turning to jello. Very tough. Very tough in deed.
