Yeah it takes about 45 min to get through the neighborhood. HOA makes it mandatory to put up lights. Hot chocolate along the route too if you decide to walk it. Almost faster to walk with the traffic that goes through there.

I used to work for dominos back in the day when it was 30 minutes or free, then changed to 30 min or 3 dollars off. :annoyed: it sucked trying to get in and out of there in a timely fashion.

As a skeptic I have a couple issues with this post.....

    First,
People have to figure out where someone's advice on a topic is coming from. I've done a great deal of reading on Tacomaworld and else where, and generally the people that know their shit base their opinions/knowledge off their primary interest and experience. If you ask a "prerunner guy" a "rock crawling guy" and a "overlanding guy"(someone that actually knows what they are talking about, not your typical instagram fucktard that can't even install their own shocks) a question about suspensions you're likely going to get 3 different answers all biased towards what they are most interested in and know the most about. So when you say that Basikbiker says: "yadda yadda yadda" anyone can search for 5 minutes and find that he's got a recently self built custom front 4x4 prerunner suspension, so his knowledge/experience is likely biased towards go-fast stuff. I'm certainly not saying he doesn't know his shit, on the contrary, I'm sure he knows a shit load more about any suspension setup than I will ever likely learn, but at the end of the day, his advice issued on an instagram post to mademan might not be the most applicable for everyone.(I'm guessing you referenced him because of the fact he knows suspensions as well as he does, however AFAIK he doesn't hang out much on Tacomaworld outside of the LT BS thread, or Norcal sections so using him as a reference in the Socal subforum may not have been your best choice)

    Second,
According to Maxx Powells instagram he installed your hangers 2 days ago.......Let us give you benefit of the doubt and say he installed them several days ago and just didn't post about it. I seriously doubt that guy has had enough time to put those through the ropes and actually test them and have an experience backed opinion to offer. So when you say "Maxx Powell says his ride improved" all I hear is "Bullshit" because he really hasn't had the opportunity to *use* them. (at least how I would describe *use*, other's standards may be drastically lower)

    Third,
Instagram is a cesspool of illegal advertising. Whenever I (a skeptic) see someone with a crap load of followers say in a post "I LOVE ______ PRODUCT IT IS THE BEST EVER!!!!!" I naturally assume they received that product at a discount and are not disclosing it. Anyone that receives products at a discount (for the purpose of advertising) has their opinions on the matter compromised and isn't worth the "0's and 1's" its occupying on the internet. Even if you said that you didn't offer the hangers to Maxx Powell at a discount in exchange for exposure/advertising, I wouldn't believe it since you wouldn't be able to admit to the opposite either, which would be admitting to violating advertising laws. That's not to say that the whole thing couldn't be completely innocent, and he actually paid full price for them..... but, considering it's instagram and the Maxx Powell has 19.5k followers, what are the chances of that?

    Fourth,
I have seen you pop up in a lot of threads offering more information on your new hangers trying to get them out there. Modifying a suspension and trying to keep it *close* to stock geometry comes with compromises but I haven't really seen you mention much, in terms of compromises, that come with your Hammer Hangers. I get it, your a salesman and your job is to get your product out there, but when skeptics see your responses and only see you talk about the positives, I can't help but wonder what short term compromises and long term issues are being created when shifting around shackle geometry and keeping stock design leaf packs.

    Lastly,
A minor technical worry, depending on how far you have moved the pivot away from the frame I would have concerns about doing serious rock crawling (relative for an IFS tacoma, anyway) or carrying heavy weights over GVWR. If you make the shackle hanger bullet proof and make it longer, anything hitting/acting on the hanger is going to get more leverage to work on the frame. I would be worried about the things that caused this to my hanger (it was bent in multiple dimensions) being transferred to the frame or somewhere else.

    Edit:
This isn't intended as a rant, just things as I see them as a cynical asshole :)

Hahahahaa, love this rant. My hangers arebin worse shape than those unfortunately.

Bottom line to a good setup is bump travel at ride height. Who cares what droop your junk may have if you only have less than an inch of up travel at ride height.

Hehe, it wasn't intended as a rant, just some observations I've made. I have a bad habit of sounding like an asshole even when its not my intention.:notsure:

Those hangers were bent backwards as well, they looked funny when viewed from the side since you could see they were tweaked at multiple angles from heavy loading and a hard hit after slipping off a rock on John Bull. I ended up pulling a set off my buddy's 2015 after it was totalled when someone hit him.
