Hi my first time here. First ever Tacoma and its a 3.4L. Just bought yesterday. Guy I bought truck from did not ever replace timing components. He's had truck from 89K for 8 yrs. Truck now has 175K. I like to know if I should buy the ebay kit https://www.ebay.com/itm/180729034728?rmvSB=true

Or the Rockauto Aisin TKT025 Kit?? and piece together the rest. Quality?

Will be replacing the plugs and wires also. Don't even know if that was ever changed.

I can also vouch for the aircabinman kit as well, get the higher end one though, sone of the kits he puts together have cheaper box parts store parts for some of the lesser items, I think my super duper delux kit from him and it shipped stupid fast!

Was less expensive to get the parts from him shipped from CA to FL than it was to get the parts from my budy at Toyota here local.

get an Aisin water pump while you are at it otherwise you may have to go back in later. Also gates belts are awesome.

Just the kit he sells that has all OEM parts, some of the less expensive kits he has posted use generic parts. If you're going to do a TB job and plan on keeping thr truck for another couple of years might as well shell out the few extra bucks and do it right.
