It does but it's not that good. The scout is basically a sniper. Hand cannon sucks ass but I've got to have every weapon lol

 

Fired up the D and cashed in all the shit ive been hoarding. I dropped a few masterworks like the antiope with a bigger magazine and a scathelocke with more range.

Ill have to say that my mind is spinning with what a better devils with more reload speed or a high impact shotgun or Hawthornes with more range would do.

 

Got my onex scorpio in yesterday, was super stoked to see the cinematics in 4k

realized there are no options to rewatch cutscenes or cinematics

Yep I imagine it looks great on the Xbox one X. They fixed the HDR on the PS4 Pro and it looks amazing.

I told you I'd let you know when the game is playable again. Although it's not perfect, this is what I was talking about. Something to keep me playing. Running the Lost Prophecies, trying to find the perfect Masterwork weapon, Heroic Adventures on Mercury, new Heroic Strikes (that are actually fun), and a new raid lair that I didn't expect. So yeah... although the game still isn't perfect, the live team did a great job with the short amount of time they had to work with. I now have a reason to login each day because there is always that weapon / armor piece I want to get my hands on. It was even fun playing laser tag (while it lasted) with the prometheus lens in crucible.

So there is my non-critical opinion of the game as it stands now. Notice no negative remarks? That's because I don't have any to give at the moment because they did the best they could in a very short amount of time.

 

Its fwd progress for sure. I have things to do without DLC. That's a welcomed change.

 

Got the Perfect Paradox (St.14 shotgun) today. Really cool story line.

I've forged every weapon that has been available so far. The Scout Rifle is my favorite so far. I even turned it into a Masterwork weapon and it is an orb making machine.

Yeah my scout rifle is a masterwork. I actually like it more than the Mida or Nameless Midnight and that's saying a lot. Fires a little slower but hits like a fucking truck. The masterwork that dropped with it increased the range so it is basically a fast firing sniper that is a headshot machine.

 

It takes a little bit to get used to the recoil. I love the scope. I've got a mod that reduces recoil then I've got the weapon itself set up for low recoil. Now it's a laser. Plus it just looks cool as shit lol.

 

Ok so I have a couple questions I'm a little confused about. I am up to light level 311 I think and have been playing strikes, but can't get any gear above 305 other than a random legendary drop for 317. What is the actual level cap and how do I get more items above 305? Other than mods to get to 310.

Next question, was going to combine some weapons to bring some of my favorites up to this level because I thought I reached the max until I saw the max level of a weapon can be 360. How do I get to 360? And can I combine a weapon multiple times if I start getting higher level gear or just once?

Even my vanguard token drops are stuck at 305 yet I've seen pictures of them at 330?

I've also read a few things online about how the new system works for combining weapons and it has only confused me more...

 

I got like 5 exotics last weekend all were lower than my level other than the 317 piece of armor. All of my blues and purples have been 299-300 then suddenly I got a 301 blue. The only thing that gave me hope was the 317 which I got from a challenge, but since then still stuck with gear at 301. Does the raid effect gear drop levels? I still haven't done it maybe that is my issue?

 

If you're on PS4 and want to try it sometime I'd be down... All my friends that have D2 still haven't finished the campaign. Didn't even think to check reddit.

 

If the exotics are dropping lower than the level of the item you would like to infuse you most likely have a mod on the legendary. If you have a mod on it, it is a false power level and the base level is 5 levels lower. I haven't had an exotic drop lower than another exotic that I've got equipped but I have had an exotic drop lower than a legendary that I've had equipped.

As far as the time issues goes... well that's something you'll have to work out. Some of the NF's are no joke. This week is easy. We can finish the raid in about 30-45 mins if we don't go for chests. If we carry someone for the first time it just depends on if they are good and understand how we do things.

 

This is why I hate playing with randoms. Hell... strikes shouldn't be that big of a deal. But I went through five strikes in a row where I was the last guardian standing. It's a good thing that I didn't die each time. I recorded the last one because I was sick of randos.

 

We usually run them at 7pm CST

 

I'd be down to run strikes, I only make stupid plays every once and a while... Usually don't have too many problems with randoms, sometimes I get a little frustrated with them though. Also, if you ever have an extra spot for a raid I'd be down!

Yeah man whenever. There are a bunch of raids posted but the group that I run in is pretty hard to get into since we have been running together for over 3 years now. We've cleared every single piece of content there is in the game and we know exactly how each other plays so it just works out. But there are a bunch of other raids scheduled on our 100.io page all the time and I've run with those guys also and "most" are competent.
