Got a 2016 taco and mbrp 3" cat back. Sounds good but it's really frikin loud. How can I turn the note down a bit. And not some ricer way like shoving steel wool up the exhaust. That's all that you tube shows.

Installing a resonator is your best bet. Any halfway decent muffler shop can do it pretty cheap.

    ...Or turn up your radio?

If you tell MBRP that your install is too loud they'll actually send you a quieter muffler for free if I'm not mistaken. There was another user on this thread with that issue. I actually really like the volume of my MBRP. I chopped it down after the rear axle and turned it to the ground though so maybe that had an affect on the overall volume.

I contacted them by email and the lady responded that they can sell me one at discount. Not trade if for free.

Hmm. Well in that case you may be better off just picking up a resonator.
