I used to not understand what they were talking about in the new England thread when they started going on about guns, so I just pretended it was models of vibrators

 

question, handgun with threaded barrel or not. hypothetically CZ P-07. does having the threaded barrel increase accuracy or the gun, due to longer barrel? ( I know it is threaded to add a suppressor) I think yes, but by how much? how much longer is a threaded barrel vs. regular. assume standard 3.75" stock length.

edit.... 4.3" for the threaded barrel ... +0.55"

 

Threaded barrel if you want to run a silencer but that's it. The difference in length is going to do nothing for you in the way of accuracy.

No. In fact, it’s often the opposite. Shorter barrels have less flex given all other factors are equal, and therefore have greater potential accuracy. Longer slides are often more accurately shot due to the sight radius.

Unless the tolerances of the threaded barrel are better suited to your carry ammo than the OEM barrel...

 

The gun is more accurate than you are so an extra half inch doesn't matter.
