Quick question. I’m lookin to get the prinsu setup on my truck w/ bed cap and access cab. Has anybody come up with or does prinsu offer a corner post? You know how most ladder racks have that vertical 4” post that you butt things up against on the four corners or even half way up as well? That’s what I’m looking for. Since I work at a lumber yard my main use would be hauling lumber, trim, 16’ material so I want an extra form of security to butt it up against while transporting.

    Thanks in advance.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Use two eye bolts in the corners, then use a ratchet strap

The switch that Cali-Raised sells is a larger switch than what is available for the OEM switch knockouts that I have. the one I need is the one for the center panel which is a little smaller and made by the same company that Cali-Raised sells, i.e. MICTUNING. I think that CR should label a couple of their products such that it is a bit more understandable as to the size.

With all the talk about Plano boxes on here I guess the supply and demand went up as well as the price of these things. Two weeks ago you could get one for 45 buck and now they are at $69 if you can even find one. I guess I'll be waiting till next year when they have plenty of them again and are not so damn expensive.

But for you guys who are into tools, here is a great buy and something you should all have in your tool bag behind your seat. These Gearwrenches are one of the best I have been using and now you can get a whole set of Metric for $40. It cost me $23 for one since 10mm at Sears when I bought one. Check it out, the whole set usually runs for $99 and today I found it for $39.

Keep your eye on Amazon for the Plano's. I went online one morning and it was $83, that same afternoon it went up to $95 then was unavailable. The next day or so I checked again and they were $45 and I was able to snag one up.

Ordered Nov 21st with the Black Friday free shipping. Expected delivery date was Jan. 4th. Actual delivery date was Dec. 11th. Powder coated black with black crossbars. Everything packaged and accounted for. I'm pretty pumped. Install was a breeze all by myself. IMG_3864.jpgIMG_3865.jpgIMG_3868.jpg

Can anyone point me to a more detailed guide on prepping the weather stripping for the hole method? I have a 3rd gen. I don't want to screw it up. What worked for you what did not, anything you'd do different?

    TIA

After just going through and installing mine. Here's my pointers:
-Take out the stock weather stripping and remove the tape over the holes in the channel. Line up some painters tape on the center of the bolt holes and reinstall the stripping.

-Mark with a sharpie on the weather stripping where the bolt hole centers are located, then remove strips again.

-Take a dremel and cut the metal supports in the strip giving yourself a little room, then take a utility knife and fillet off the metal strip.

-Use that Amazon 3/4" punch and make your holes, reinstall to check your work.

-Take them off again and put some silicon down, aluminum spacers, and stripping

-Install rack, some of the bolt holes are a little gummy, so use some patience

That's almost exactly how I did mine, except I actually didn't bother with cutting out the metal supports. I was able to punch straight through it.
